Creating a Table

To create a table in your Web page, follow these instructions:

  1. Open Claris Home Page, if it's not already open.
  2. Open the page in which you want to create the table.
  3. Choose Edit Page from the Window menu.
  4. Click where you want the table to appear.
  5. Choose Table from the Insert menu.
  6. In the Table window, enter the number of rows and columns you want the table to contain.
  7. Choose Save from the File menu.

Tips

Bullet

You can change the number of rows and columns in a table at any time. When you remove a row or column, the contents of the removed cells are lost.

Tables can appear anywhere on a page, including as items within lists.

Cells expand vertically to accommodate what's placed in them. Tables can contain text, graphics, sounds, and even other tables.
