Creating a Topic
Heading
You use topic headings in your Web page just as you would in
a paper or report -- to organize text into different
sections and indicate where each section begins and ends.
With Claris Home Page, you have a choice of six sizes of
topic headings.
To create a topic heading, follow these instructions:
- Open Claris Home Page, if it's not already open.
- Open the page in which you want to add a heading.
- Click where you want the heading to appear.
- Choose a heading size (1 through 6) from the format
pop-up menu.
- Type the text you want to use for your heading.
- Choose Save from the File menu.
- Choose Preview in Browser from the File menu to see
how the new heading looks.
Tips
|
You can change the heading size any time you
want by choosing a different size from the format
pop-up menu. Make sure the insertion point (the
vertical blinking bar) is in the heading before you
change its size.

Major headings (Heading 1 and Heading 2) often
look best when they're centered.
