Cant install VMWare Tools on Windows 2000:

I need the "Microsoft Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4"  update installed (it is like SP4.1 rather then my iso SP4.0) problem is that all winodws OS's before XP have been completely abandond, no no updates are possable to 2000 and and support articles are missing. So it is a bad itea to use win 2000 in vmware due to poor graphics quility and virtualbox due to bad sound quilaty.
