Nintendo DS and ColecoVision have same resolution:

The Nintendo DS and the ColecoVision have the same resolution of 256×192. So there will be no distorting between systems for emulation of ColecoVision on Original DS.
*3DS resolution is different though, so there will be distortion there, but just Original DS to 3DS level.
