Dual-booting Solaris with another OS is VERY bad idea

For Oracle Solaris 11.4, it uses a modified version of grub that will never boot Ubuntu and make using the Linux grub impossible to install breaking my system (at least it recognize windows).
Also, Illinois cant multi-boot at all with any Linux or windows OS, makes difficult to reinstall grub, and when grub is reinstalled, Open Solaris based OS will never be listed.
Installing on a secondary/external SSD does work and does not mess up the bootloader, but OS crashes halfway through boot up, so to unstable.
Additionally, many laptops don't have the divers needed for Solaris to boot.
