Why I Need ICMP pass through Windows Firewall:

Need ICMP (for IPV4 at least) for ping and traceroute to work properly from Linux & Windows.
Ping from LAN is unnecessary if want to ping from laptop and still does not work if it is enabled but ICMP is disabled.
IPV6 ICMP is less used but helpful if enabled.
