Windows XP Media centre 2005 vmware notes:

Has vmware tools 8.x installed. DO NOT UPGRADE IT! GPU will fail (so no picture on screen) if using a newer version of vmware tools!
Also set hardware capability to workstation 12.x. May fail on newer versions of workstation.
There is no activation key for media centre versions of XP.
