Dedicated computer has changed over time. Current Computer entirely dedicated to WCG is a 2015/2016 Intel NUC (NUC6i5SYB) with Latest Ubuntu Server as of April 2024. Stop contributing as of July 8th 2024 just to save on power, reuse that PC. Room that PC is in gets very hot in the summer. Restarted BONIC for World Community Grid (on NEC2014 Laptop) September 13th 2024
No longer contribute to universe@home as of early 2024 (focusing on World Community Grid). Universe@home does not run on mac2008 (Intel core 2 duo). Too old of CPU (missing x86_64 extensions). Date in Miminote: March 16th 2024. universe@home has shutdown as of November 2024
